You will get tulips and the ship will set sail from the Walmart lot at 8AM.

Something more than just a bike race- FUNDRAISER.

Fundraiser history- Year 1 we raised $1300 for a young man in need. Year 2 we generated 400 lbs of food and $ for local food shelf. Year 3 the raiser brought in more than $2000 for a beautiful woman fighting cancer. Year 4 (last year) we rallied with the Bauers in support of Jason and his fight... Year 5 was cancer awareness and fund support to a single Mom.

Ethos: You are responsible for you. If you get stuck in one spot, you gotta get yourself out of it. Bring a phone, straight key for an SOS, or sky flares.

NOTE: The course will not be the same as last year. So disregard your bootleg GPS map. You rely on it, and it will cheat you.

THANKS TO MILLTOWN CYCLES & HARRY'S CAFE for their continued support!

L-M-L Swag Swap Leftovers

Swag Swap Leftovers- [benefit of new program I'm currently on, extra time to inventory] Did YOU leave any of this behind? Will save for NEXT YEAR.

Salsa Bell Lap Road h-bar, slightly used sram cassette (model?), shimano BB7900 in sram box (english thread. What?), bontrager and ritchey stem in plastic bag (lengths fairly long/ no angle), 700x35 presta tube, Silver Cycling t-shirt/ FarmDog TT (5), Shimano Acera FD 1-1/4" top pull BB mount, alligator gear/ brake cable/ housing combo (2) (my contribution), motobecane saddle (new, my contribution), indoor trainer 26" tire (funniest leftover), Akra frame pack (most "questionable" swag), cinelli roadie bar tape (2), velo saddle crmo (Jack it's brown/ your color), jagwire frostbike roadie brakes/ pads, not so Race Light Seatpost (27.0), Maxxis tire levers, unmarked steam (fairly short, a bit of rise), serfas gel tri saddle (real heavy, looks not comfortable), banjo bro pocket messanger bag (bike cultured), sram pc-1 chain (used?), and last but not least 26"x1.95" schraeder tube (I'm going to keep for a teenager's MTB).

You want any of this stuff, send me a signal with a story from your L-M-L day on the bike.

Behind the beard, a Smiling Pirate.

  1. I could definitely use that BB... my story is already out there though. I'm glad someone took my item home to someone who will use it!
